Fall 2019 – Winter 2020
This full year course allows fourth-year students to design and implement digital writing for community organizations. The primary goal of this course is to communicate about, with, and for computers and to critically reflect on this type of communication.
- Apply rhetorical theory to the practice of digital writing in both the classroom and community contexts
- Understand contemporary, professional, and ethical issues in digital writing
- Collaborate with colleagues and community partners to produce deliverables in a variety of media and genres
- Develop a professional portfolio and prepare to apply for positions in digital and professional writing
